Surbhi Dhoom Dandiya was organised by Surbhi Group on the occasion of Shardiya Navratri at Chattarpur Farms to support Adarsh Jeevdaya Kendra. This is the 16th year of the programme. The cheque of `25 lakh collected during the event was presented to Nitin Thakkar and Sureshbhai Thakkar by the chairman of the editorial board of Lokmat Media Group and former member of Rajya Sabha Dr Vijay Darda, GST commissioner Aparna Agarwal and  Chattarpur Farms’ managing director Ravi Agarwal. Also seen are organisers Hetal Tanna, Tushar Bheda, Rajesh Patel, Harish Suchak, Sunil Kariya, Vipinbhai Patel and all members of Surbhi Group. Apart from this, assistance was also provided to Renovatio Foundation’s founder Nakul Agarwal, public dispensary run by Shri Maheshwari Yuvak Sangh and Deendayal Thali run by Shri Salasar Seva Samiti. This programme is being organised with the aim of connecting all its members with Hindu culture and customs in a family environment. On the Ashtami Tithi of Navratri, a ‘Maha Aarti’ was also performed along with Ras Garba, in which thousands of people present worshiped the Matarani with diays in their hands. The amount earned from the programme is dedicated to social work and service to animals.
