Eknath Shinde was honored with the prestigious award of ‘Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year 2020’

Eknath Shinde, who took oath as chief minister of Maharashtra on Thursday, was honoured with the prestigious ‘Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year 2020’ award by Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi. Shinde was the State urban development minister then and was felicitated for his excellent work during the Covid pandemic in Maharashtra. Chairman of the editorial board of Lokmat Media and former member of Rajya Sabha Vijay Darda, editorial director and joint managing director of Lokmat Media Rishi Darda and MP Shrikant Shinde were also present on the occasion.
