Lalbaugcha Raja’s management inspiration for others: Dr Darda

The crowd management at the Mumbai’s revered deity Lalbaugcha Raja, where lakhs of devotees visit everyday is an inspiration for other mandals, said chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media Group and former member of Rajya Sabha Dr Vijay Darda.

Dr Darda paid obeisance to the deity late Saturday night. He was accompanied by vice-president of Gems and Jewellery Export Council Kirit Bhansali and his colleagues.

Speaking about the ‘darshan’ arrangement and crowd management, Dr Darda said, he could experience the best management to control lakhs of enthusiastic devotees plunged into spirituality. It is a classic example of faith with discipline. The jawans of Mumbai police under the guidance of senior officials manage the crowd day and night, Dr Darda said, adding thousands of mandal volunteers assist them in the task.

He praised the policemen for being on their toes to ensure that the visiting devotees did not suffer even during the visit of VVIPs including Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Union home minister Amit Shah, BJP national president J P Nadda,  deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and other ministers.

Dr Darda said that Mumbai CP Vivek Phansalkar, special commissioner of police Deven Bharati, joint commissioner of police Satyanarayan Choudhary, additional commissioner of police Anil Paraskar, deputy commissioners of police Prashant Kadam and Ganesh Gawade, assistant commissioner of police Sachin Palwe, police sub-inspector Arjun Hajare and thousands of mandal volunteers deserve special appreciation.

Chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media Group and former member of Rajya Sabha Dr Vijay Darda paid obeisance to Lalbaughcha Raja. On the occasion, he was presented a booklet by the mandal office-bearers. Vice-president of Gems and Jewellery Export Council Kirit Bhansali is also seen.
