Lokmat’s warm get-together at Yavatmal House lawn

The tradition of organising a ‘get-together’ for ministers, legislators and senior officials from across the State during the Winter Session of the legislature was started by Lokmat Group’s founder editor, former senior minister of Maharashtra and veteran freedom fighter Jawaharlal Darda alias ‘Babuji’. The tradition is going on uninterrupted for the last 51 years. This year on the occasion of 53rd foundation day of Lokmat’s Nagpur edition, it was a moment of great joy as chief minister Devendra Fadnavis cut the cake at Yavatmal House in Nagpur on Friday. On the occasion, chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media Group and former member of Rajya Sabha Dr Vijay Darda,  editor-in-chief of Lokmat Media Group and former Maharashtra minister Rajendra Darda, Lokmat Sakhi Manch president Ashoo Darda, managing director & editorial director Devendra Darda, joint managing director and editorial director Rishi Darda,  executive director and editorial director Karan Darda along with director Ashok Jain, Kishor Darda, Aryaveer Karan Darda, Yashovardhan Sunit Kothari and Lokmat Nagpur unit head Ashish Jain and (right) Lokmat’s group editor Vijay Baviskar, Lokmat Samachar senior editor Vikas Mishra, Lokmat Times editor N K Nayak, Lokmat (Nagpur edition) editor Shrimant Mane, editor of Lokmat (Mumbai edition) Atul Kulkarni and Lokmat digital editor Ashish Jadhao were also present.
