Isha expressed her gratitude, emphasising that Maharashtra is not just a state, but a ‘karmabhoomi’ and home for her family. I am happy that my father-in-law Ajay uncle (Ajay Piramal) and my husband Anand are both present here as I am being honoured by the Lokmat Group, for without their encouragement, it is not possible for me to fulfil my dreams, added Isha Ambani on a grateful note.
In the Reliance family, we care! We care about each other and yearn for each other. It is this yearning that we should all share with our country and ultimately discharge our responsibility towards the world with equal commitment.
Thank you, Papu!

n My grandfather Dhirubhai Ambani gave a mantra to the entire Reliance Group, ‘Dare to dream and learn to excel’. I have learned from my father how much hard work it takes to realise the big dreams we see. My father’s place in my life is akin to the lighthouse that shows the right direction in the storm.’
n Isha Ambani, with a touch of humility, expressed her gratitude in simple words, saying, “Thank you, Papu!” As she spoke the words, the camera captured Mukesh Ambani’s expression.

Lokmat newspaper goes beyond just reporting news. It is always at the forefront of serving society when needed, said the chief minister Eknath Shinde who graced the event as the chief guest. He commended ‘Lokmat’ for not only highlighting negative aspects but also giving recognition to individuals who have excelled in various fields.

Brainchild of Rishi Darda
The idea behind the award is to inspire the younger generation. ‘Lokmat’ has been consistent in identifying outstanding individuals from different sectors, acknowledging their achievements and honouring them with Maharashtrian of the Year Awards. Rishi Darda conceptualised and realised this award a decade back. Today it has become a prestigious event, the chief minister said and recalled being recognised by Lokmat in Delhi for his commendable work during the Covid pandemic.
Maharashtra is growth engine of country
We are running many good schemes. The Prime Minister recently inaugurated the country’s longest sea bridge ‘Atal Setu’. Earlier it used to take two hours to reach Raigarh from Mumbai, and now it takes only 15 minutes. This is a ‘gamechanger’ project. We have completed the Samruddhi Expressway. Maharashtra is the number one state in terms of big projects. It is the growth engine of the country. Our state is the number one in foreign investment. The state got the first prize for cleanliness last week.

Shinde praised the Lokmat Media Group in his speech saying that Dr Vijay Darda has the magic of bringing all the people under one roof.
