In a remarkable display of gratitude and civic sense, final-year B.Com students of Amolakchand Mahavidyalaya marked their last day on campus by cleaning the entire premises.  The self-motivated effort was a heartfelt gesture to give back to the institution that shaped their academic journey.

Apart from opting for a conventional farewell celebration, the students rolled up their sleeves and undertook a thorough campus clean-up. The gesture reflects a growing culture of social responsibility and discipline being nurtured in educational institutions. Amolakchand Mahavidyalaya, run by the Vidya Prasarak Mandal, has long emphasised character-building alongside academic excellence. The initiative was greeted with admiration from faculty, staff, and the wider community, who praised the students for setting a positive example.

Dr Darda lauds initiative

Speaking about the self-less effort, president of Vidya Prasarak Mandal which runs Amolakchand Mahavidyalaya and Jawaharlal Darda Law College, Dr Vijay Darda, praised the students for their thoughtful gesture.

“My heart swells with utmost respect and pride as these young students have displayed a sense of duty and discipline,” Dr. Darda said. “They’ve left behind a legacy. I am sure students across the nation will emulate this gesture and do the same for their institutions,” he said.

He added that such acts reflect the noble culture nurtured over the years within the institutions run by Vidya Prasarak Mandal. “It speaks of values, not just education,” Dr. Darda remarked.

As these young graduates step into the world beyond college, they carry with them not only degrees but a powerful lesson in gratitude and leadership—one that may well inspire a nationwide ripple of goodwill.
