Dr Vijay Darda interacts with saints, praises religious services & activities of Sindhi community

Chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media Group and former member of Rajya Sabha Dr Vijay Darda along with former Maharashtra minister Sureshdada Jain attended the three-day “Varsi Parv” of Amar Shaheed Sant Kanwar Ram, Sant Baba Hardasram (Godadiwale), and Baba Gelaram held here from October 21.
The ‘Varsi Parv’ has a 175-year-old tradition and it draws devotees to Jalgaon from almost 36 countries.
During their visit, Dr Darda and Sureshdada interacted with the saints and praised the services and religious activities conducted by the Sindhi community.
On the occasion, various religious programmes including ‘Akhand Paath Sahib’, ‘satsangs’ and ‘bhajans’ were organised continuously for three days.
The ‘Varsi Parv’ was hosted by Sant Kanwaram Nagar Pujya Seva Mandal. Dr Darda and Sureshdada paid obeisance to the idols of Sant Hardasram and Sant Gelaram Baba at Sindhi Colony in Jalgaon and they were also blessed by Sant Fakir Sai, Lucknow.
Former MLC Dr Gurumukh Jagwani, former corporator Raju Advani, Bhagat Balani, Amar Shaheed Sant Kanwar Ram Trust president Dayanand Visrani, Ashok Mandhan, Ramesh Matani, Omprakash Kaurani, former corporator Manoj Ahuja, Jitendra Mudanda, Ayush Maniar, and others welcomed Dr Darda.
The Seva Mandal premises reverberated with devotional chants of “Dina Bandhu Dinanath”, “Meri Dori Tere Hath Baba”, “Sai Ram”, “Ayo Lal Jhulelal”, and “Amarlal Kanwarlal” during the religious congregation.
