Vijay Darda honoured with Global Achievers Award

World Summit 2022 for Global Achievers held in Delhi

The chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media and former member of Rajya Sabha Vijay Darda was conferred with the Global Achievers Award in Best Politician category at the World Summit 2022 for Global Achievers organised by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Foundation in New Delhi. The award was given in appreciation of his valuable and remarkable contribution, achievement, dedication and devotion for the development of the society globally.

The awards were presented at the hands of Kerala governor Arif Mohammad Khan in a ceremony held at Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti’s Satyagrah Hall, Raj Ghat in New Delhi.

Distinguished personalities who have done remarkable work in various fields were awarded on this occasion.

Former Union minister and vice chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti Vijay Goel, MP Mithilesh Kumar, Acharya Lokesh Muni and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brother Prahlad Modi were prominent among those present on this occasion.

The national editor of Lokmat Media Harish Gupta accepted the award on behalf of Vijay Darda. The award comprised a memento and a certificate of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Arif Mohammad Khan stressed upon the need for harmony among various religions and sects across the country.

He lauded Indian culture saying it is unique in the world as people of all religions took shelter in it and all religions got equal opportunities in this country.
