Who will have Bow & Arrow?

Who will have the Bow and Arrow symbol, which has been frozen by the Election Commission, chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media and former member of Rajya Sabha Vijay Darda asked Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. In reply, the CM said, “We have been declared as Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena.

1. Leave aside Shinde-Binde. Balasaheb is important. The bye-poll has been declared. So, the Bow and Arrow should be given to Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena. It is because, out of 55 MLAs, 40 are with us and their strength of voters in the figure is 39 lakhs.

2. Besides, out of 18 MPs, 12 are with us and their strength of voters is 69 lakhs. It means we are having 70 per cent majority. Hence, on merit, we should get the symbol of Bow and Arrow and we will get it.

3. Earlier, the symbol had been frozen 3-4 times. The bye-poll has been declared in the middle. Therefore, the related process could not be initiated. We will get the symbol of the Bow and Arrow. In a democracy, the majority is important.
