Bhagwat Katha cures diseases of mind

Says Kruparam Maharaj in Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Mahotsav

Diseases of the body will be cured by medicines, but diseases of the mind are cured by listening to Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, said Sant Kruparam Maharaj while delivering discourse on the second day of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Mahotsav underway at  Bhangdiya Plot, Old Balraj Bhavan in Dhantoli.

The mahotsav has been organised by the Bhangdiya family. Chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media and former member of Rajya Sabha Vijay Darda was present in this mahotsav on Friday. On the occasion, MLA Kirtikumar alias Bunty Bhangdiya welcomed Darda. Former MLA Mitesh Bhangdiya was also present.

Speaking further, Maharaj said, “Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is not for any one caste or religion, it is for the whole human being. If this story is understood from the mind, the life of a disorderly person will be back on track.”

Bhagwat Katha began on Thursday and will continue upto December 21. In the Bhagwat on Friday, Maharaj described the twenty-four avatars of gods and gave information about Shri Ram and Krishna avatars. An aarti was performed in presence of Vijay Darda who welcomed maharaj with garland.

Govindlalji Sarda, Ramesh Randar, Manish Bang, Bhagwandas Daga, Narendra Lahoti, Gopal Baldua, Jugal Dheeran, Radheshyam Kabra, Jagdish Sharma, Prabhadevi Heda, Muralimanohar Mutha and others present for story listening on Friday.
