Ganeshotsav starts at Bhende Layout

Krishna Leelas enthrall devotees
The Ganeshotsav of Shri Sarvajanik Bal Ganeshotsav Mandal by Shri Siddhivinayak Foundation in Bhende Layout began on Tuesday. This year the Ganesh pandal has been designed like ISKCON temple in Vrindavan.
Chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media Group and former member of Rajya Sabha Dr Vijay Darda inaugurated the festival by performing first aarti.
Ganesh Gudadhe Patil, Bharti Gudadhe, Manoharrao Gudadhe, Jagdish Deshmukh, Pradeep Sable and Dilip Khadse were present during the aarti.
Dr Darda also inaugurated the website of Ganeshotsav Mandal on the occasion. Shri Sarvajanik Bal Ganeshotsav Mandal in Bhende Layout has been celebrating for the last 35 years.
The entrance of pandal is 120 feet long and 50 feet tall. Apart from this, many beautiful tableaux have also been presented.
President of mandal Ishwar Dhengle, Mahesh Gudadhe, Nilesh Raut, Mahesh Durge, Ramesh Raut, Nilesh Gaikwad, Prashant
Darekar, Suyask SK, Shubham Thakre, Piyush Dable, Madan Karnik, Shubham Shinde, Pralay Chaudhary and others are extending cooperation.
As if they are Krishna’s friends: Dr Darda
Chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media Group and former member of Rajya Sabha Dr Vijay Darda was all praise for the members of Shri Sarvajanik Bal Ganeshotsav Mandal in Bhende Layout and said that the pandal has been decorated beautifully. Dr Darda further said, “The idol of Lord Ganesh is so beautiful that it seems as if Lord Ganesha is actually present here. Apart from this, the Leelas of Krishna shown are also amazing. The members and volunteers looked as if they were Krishna’s friends in Gokul. Whoever sees them will be mesmerised.” He congratulated all the members for making beautiful pandals and presenting beautiful tableaux. He said, “This is a unique gift for the citizens of Nagpur. Today was the last day of Paryushan Parva. Today, mass Pratikraman chanting was going in community, I couldn’t stop myself. First I took darshan of Lord Ganesha at Shri Sarvajanik Bal Ganeshotsav Mandal in Bhende Layout and then took blessings of the Lord of Wisdom at Lokmat’s ‘Ti Cha’ Ganpati at Lokmat Bhavan.”
