Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards given away in glittering ceremony in New Delhi

Talented singer Maithili Thakur and young musician Lydian Nadhaswaram, the winners of the 8th edition of Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards 2021, were honoured at the hands of Union Information and Broadcasting minister Anurag Singh Thakur at a glittering award ceremony at Kamani Auditorium, Mandi House, in New Delhi on Thursday. Also seen on the occasion are (from L) Padma Bhushan Pt Sajan Mishra, renowned singer Roop Kumar Rathod, eminent sarod maestro Padma Vibhushan Amjad Ali Khan, senior journalist Ved Pratap Vaidik, Geetanjali Behl, noted singer Sunali Rathod, Congress leader Vivek Tankha, INS president and executive director of The Times of India Mohit Jain, Acharya Lokeshmuni ji, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and MP Farooq Abdullah, Padma Bhushan Rajeev Sethi, promising singer Maithili Thakur, chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media and former member of Rajya Sabha Vijay Darda, young musician Lydian Nadhaswaram, Union minister of state for finance Dr Bhagwat Karad, eminent industrialist Manoj Jayaswal, Pt Laxman Krishnarao Pandit of Gwalior gharana, Harish Bhalla, Pt Shashi Vyas and Yogesh Lakhani.
