Navratri begins with garba on beats of traditional musical instruments

The ‘Crazy Dandiya’ has been organised by Ramdaspeth Plot Owners and Residents Association at the basketball ground near Dagdi Park during the ongoing Navratri festival. The garba pandal of Dandiya was inaugurated by chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media Group and former member of Rajya Sabha Vijay Darda.

On the occasion, director of Confidence Petroleum Group Nitin Khara, president of association Harjitsingh Bagga, secretary Sachin Puniyani, members Giriraj Singhee, Ramesh Chhabra, D L Patel, Sandeep Mankar, Pappu Fatepuria, Devendra Parekh, Chandrakant Jagdale, Twinkle Purohit, Jayashri Singhee, Krishna Chhabra, Pooja Malhotra, Meena Saraf and others were present.

The Dandiya programme will run from 7 pm to 10 pm daily. Traditional musical instruments will be in the garba programme instead of electronic instruments. This is the feature of this year and the enthusiasm of the citizens of the area has gone up.
