KK had graced ‘Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards’ ceremony in Nagpur

The sweet memories are the heaven of our mind that enchant and remain with us for a longer period. A person is remembered for his accomplishments and sweet memories. The popular playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, fondly called KK had enhanced the grace of ‘Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards Ceremony 2016’ of ‘Lokmat’ with his musical presence. The ceremony was held on March 22, 2016, at the Indoor Stadium at Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur. Young singer Ankita Joshi and young flautist Akash Satish were awarded at the ceremony. After the award ceremony, KK’s live concert was held. He entertained the young audience by performing his popular song ‘Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se Ah Nikli Rahi’ from the movie ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. He won the applause from the audience whom he kept them spellbound by singing evergreen songs ‘Kyon Aaj Kal Nind Kam Khwab Jyada Hai, Dil Ibadat Kar Raha Hai, Abhi Abhi Tum Mile, Ji Hamdam Suniyo Re, Main Hoon Don, Jarasi Dil Mein De Jagah Tu among others and got the audience tapping their feet.

One the occasion he performed the song ‘Hum Rahe Ya Na Rahe Kal, Yaad Aayenge Ye Pal’. Due to the sudden demise of KK today, these lines have come true.
