Dr Vijay Darda, Devendra Darda call on finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman

Despite the global economic challenges, India’s economy is showing the path of development to countries around the world because of the guidance and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the far-reaching policies of the finance ministry. It has attracted investors from all over the world towards India.

The chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media Group and former member of Rajya Sabha Dr Vijay Darda and the managing director and editorial director of Lokmat Media Group Devendra Darda called on the Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman here on Wednesday and congratulated her for chairing the G20 summit recently, and for approval of her suggestions. They also congratulated her for her address on global challenges at the IMF in Washington DC.

They also applauded the finance minister for showing a ray of hope to the world by aptly handling India’s economy at a time when the countries all over the world are facing an economic recession and the growth rate is falling. During this time of instability, the Indian rupee remained stable and the investors from all over the world are coming to India.

In the present situation, keeping the economic parameters strong was a big challenge. In the case of fall in the economy, all classes would be hit and everyone would be affected by it.

Praising the finance minister, they said despite the global impact of the Russia-Ukraine war, India’s diplomacy and economic policy have been commendable.

Devendra Darda gave some suggestions to Nirmala Sitharaman on the ease of doing business, which would increase business activities across the country and attract investors.

Dr Vijay Darda invited the Union finance minister to grace the Lokmat Media Group’s Lokmat Banking Conclave 2023 which will be held with a view to protect the interests of the consumers. The proposed conclave on the topic “Depositors’ interest protection through professionalism” will be held in Pune.
