Vijay Darda, Sharad Pawar took vaccine against coronavirus

The chairman of editorial board of Lokmat Media and former member of Rajya Sabha Vijay Darda got himself vaccinated against coronavirus at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (Mayo) in Nagpur on Monday. “I got  vaccinated. You get vaccinated too,” Darda said on this occasion. Dean of Mayo Dr Ajay Keoliya handing over the certificate of vaccination to Darda. Dr Sanjay Darda, head of Mayo’s PSM department Dr Ashok Jadhav and his team comprising Dr Jyotsna Deshmukh, Dr Nisha Agrawal, Dr Sanjivani Khandale, Dr Rahul Bhivgade and staff nurse Darshana Gondane are also seen.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar being administered the first dose of ‘Covishield’, manufactured by Pune-based SII in collaboration with the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca, at Sir JJ Hospital in Mumbai on Monday. His wife and MP daughter Supriya Sule (unseen) also received the first dose of vaccine.
